Re: Confirming moon sighting for Ramadan 2022
Dear mosque representatives and Arizona Muslim congregants,
Assalamu Alaykum!
The new moon has been sighted in different parts of the world. This signals the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan. Therefore, the first day of fasting will be tomorrow, on April 2, 2022.
’O Allah, let the crescent moon loom above us in safety, faith, peace and Islam and bless us with the ability to succeed in all that you love and are pleased with. Our Lord and your Lord is Allah’.
